On the Boards is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, and your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law. We are focused on using every dollar donated, or earned to serve our mission: On the Boards invests in leading contemporary performing artists near and far, and connects them to a diverse range of communities interested in forward-thinking art and ideas. Our Board of Directors and staff are committed to financial transparency, equity, and accountability.

OtB moved into its current space, the Behnke Center for Contemporary Performance, in 1998 in Seattle's lower Queen Anne neighborhood in the historic Queen Anne Hall. We take our stewardship and care of our building and its theaters and meeting spaces seriously - acknowledging that places to experiment, create, and share art are an important community asset.
