A weird and wild benefit fundraiser for On the Boards, hosted by The Future is 0. 

The Future is 0 is a satirical game show featuring artists from different disciplines competing against each other in a battle of mental, physical, & psychological challenges. Now in its sixth year, The Future is 0 has performed in a living room, Northwest Film Forum, the Neptune Theatre, a secret backyard, and now at On The Boards (and your living room).

THE CONTESTANTS

Angela Garbes is the author of Like a Mother, an NPR Best Book of 2018 and finalist for the Washington State Book Award for Nonfiction. Her work has appeared in The New York Times and The Cut, and was featured on NPR's Fresh Air. She lives with her family on Beacon Hill.  

Nicholas Japaul Bernard is a local theatre artist and Tiffany "New York" Pollard enthusiast. Hobbies include, braising meats, laying up under men, and outlining arguments in the shower for improbable confrontations. Buy "What's Your Pleasure?" by Jessie Ware wherever you buy music.  

Jody Kuehner is a Seattle-based dance artist, director, and performance artist Cherdonna Shinatra. She is a queer dancer who uses clowning, drag, theater, comedy, performance art, camp, pop culture, gay culture, feminist traditions, absurdity and subversive commentary to make art. Cherdonna is a persona created by Jody to explore and question themselves and the world.
