Megan Murphy is an actress, dancer, and theater artist known throughout the US and Europe for her unique take on time, memory, and the artifice of performance. She was a founding member of the internationally-acclaimed performance ensemble Run/Remain, and of her own Megan Murphy Company, which performed The Rich Grandeur of Boxing in 2004 at the Centre National de la Danse in Paris, followed by a month-long residency at La Villette. As a performer, Murphy was a member of the Brussels-based NeedCompany from 1988 - 1989, and she has starred in numerous feature films, including Freedom State, The Wright Brothers, Silence!, and Money Buys Happiness.
