NW New Works 2017: Waxie Moon

Next weekend we welcome Waxie Moon back to the OtB mainstage for NW New Works weekend 1 (June 10-11)! In After the Funeral, Waxie Moon, a widowed gender-blending burlesque artist, shares her Victorian secret.

After the Funeral includes principal costume design by Mark Mitchell, performances by Heather Cook and Kaleb Kerr, lighting design by Jessica Trundy, scenic design by Christopher Balder, and additional costuming by Harmony Arnold, Michael Notestine and Shaun Kelly.

Waxie Moon is an international gender-blending queer lady boylesque performance-art stripping sensation who has performed at various venues throughout Seattle including KeyArena at Seattle Center, On the Boards, Seattle Repertory Theatre, ACT Theatre, Moore Theatre and The Triple Door.

Watch Waxie Moon, Nikola Tesla Projekt, Vanessa Goodman/Action at a Distance, and Kaitlin McCarthy perform as part of NWNW's Weekend 1 Mainstage Showcase. Get your tickets here!
