The 18/19 Season marked the start of our new Artists-in-Residence program. Our inaugural cohort included Pat Graney, Victoria Haven & Heather Kravas, Ahamefule J. Oluo, Tim Smith-Stewart & Jeffrey Azevedo, Timothy White Eagle, and Markeith Wiley. Many of these artists will present their new works as part of our 19/20 Season or through works-in-progress showings.
The Artists-in-Residence program gives Northwest-based artists time, access, and support for rehearsal and technical experimentation. OtB provides expertise around production and fundraising, as well as curatorial guidance around projects in development. Our residency gives artists resources to create new work and support connections between artists in the cohort.
As they develop their new works, the Artists-in-Residence present works-in-progress and open rehearsals, offering our wider community a look at the creative processes of artists working in our city. Please check back for specific times and dates for these in-progress conversations and showings.
Stay tuned for updates about the next Artist-in-Residence cohort.
