Artists-in-Residence

The 18/19 Season marks the start of our new Artists-in-Residence program. This inaugural cohort includes Pat Graney, Victoria Haven & Heather Kravas, Ahamefule J. Oluo, Tim Smith-Stewart & Jeffrey Azevedo, Timothy White Eagle, and Markeith Wiley.

The Artists-in-Residence program will give Northwest-based artists time, access, and support for rehearsal and technical experimentation. OtB will also provide expertise around production and fundraising, as well as curatorial guidance around projects in development. This residency will give artists resources to create new work and support connections between artists in the cohort.

Throughout the season, the Artists-in-Residence will present works-in-progress and open rehearsals, offering our wider community a look at the creative processes of artists working in our city. Please check back for more specific times and dates for these in-progress conversations and showings.

Portraits of the 18/19 Artists-in-Residence are by Naomi Ishisaka. Ishisaka is a photographer and journalist with a focus on racial equity, social justice, and queer and trans people of color.
