I was so disappointed as I

I was so disappointed as I walked out of the theater. It was the OtB opening and it was supposed to be good, but the show was violent and empty. It left me nothing to learn except for the fact that it was so easy to get by on the stage. There wasn’t any dance. Rizzo was selling Guibert’s fame and exagerated stage presence for 60 minutes. Guibert tried hard to hold the tension (and thus the audence’s trust), but it inevitably became a bore as the piece went. Looking from the perspective of visual art, there was not much either. Rizzo’s calmness, bunny mask, and rosary-esque beads contrasting with Guibert’s tension in her body provoked violent and evil images in  my mind. But that’s it. The rest of the show was covered with black and white like-fashion designs, some halloween haunted-house lighting with short periods of electronical music.  More and more came to my mind after the evening, but I suppose the blog is only for people to write what happens on the stage.
