The Seattle Times says "[s]urprises and misfires alike remind us of the wealth of risk-taking talents we have in our midst"

Seattle Weekly (now online!) thinks the festival is "a lodestone for the latest things for 27 years"

Festival previews can also be found in print-only editions of City Arts. Copies of these are available all over town.
