When I was in 6th grade, I was so hyped to go see Les Miz at the Playhouse Theater in Cleveland. Looking back, I'm embarassed by my Broadway phase (as are so many of us) but there is one very clear image that remains with me from that production: Valjean and Javert in the sewer system.
Got thoughts about the music? The mise-en-scene? Leave them in the comments!
Here are some of the emails I woke up to this morning about yesterday's performances of Looking for a missing employee. And remember - there's a new show by Rabih Mroue tonight.
Looking for a missing employee, Rabih Mroué’s awarding winning performance/theater takes the audience into a different dimension. The experience alters the idea of traditional theater. The charisma of the detective pulls you into the maze of the world of the “missing”.
Scanning the morning news, after experiencing Rabih Mroue's Looking for a missing employee, takes guts and perserverance. Any semblance of truth seems camouflaged and more compromised than usual. Rabih Mroue' is a master story teller who uses printed matter to, in this case, trace the disappearance of a Lebanese government employee.
Thanks to those of you who joined us for this performance of Looking for a missing employee. Did you enjoy it? What stood out for you the most? Leave a comment below!
