In addition to 12 Minutes Max this Sunday and Monday, here are a few events to put on your calendar for the weekend:
This Saturday, October 15, OtB is hosting a Creative Capital informational meeting at 2pm in OtB's Mainstage Lobby.
It was just announced that two OtB alums, Zoe Scofield and Olivier Wevers, are the recipients of the 2011 Princess Grace Choreographic Fellowship! The prestigious award – which is given to only 2 US choreographers each year – has never gone to a Seattle choreographer before.
Information will be coming soon about Badminton Royale III, the arts organization throwdown. In the meantime, please enjoy what the PNB Ballecudas have already cooked up:

We at On the Boards will miss Bagley Wright and we honor the tremendous cultural legacy he leaves behind. It is clear that Bagley believed that a great city deserved great art.
John Sutton, Ben Beres and Zac Culler have officially moved into OtB for their 2 month residency as part of To Be Determined. Just before they got here they finished an install on Capitol Hill as part of the MadHomes exhibition.
The Seattle Times reprinted an article, "Merce Cunningham Dance Company prepares for its final bow," from the New York Times this past weekend about the last tour of company.
This morning it was announced that On the Boards is receiving a 2011 Mayor's Arts Award! We're thrilled to share the news and congratulate our fellow recipients Donald Byrd, Jack Straw Productions, Quinton Morris, Pratt Fine Arts Center and Tet in Seattle. Mayor Mike McGinn had this to say about this year's recipients:
